Units and/or hours earned and rates may vary by course; refer to the details below. Granting of CEUs requires payment of CEU fees and completion of evaluations or forms as determined by the specific granting agencies.
Continuing Education Units through CSUS
Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are offered through California State University, Sacramento (CSUS) for $90 for 6 hours.
Each Early Start Online course completed earns 6 CEU hours. To obtain CEUs, participants must:
- Register for and complete a course.
- Complete the course Post-Course Quiz.
- Complete the course feedback form.
- Download the course completion certificate.
- Complete Registration Agreement (after course has ended).
- Submit fee of $90 payable to WestEd.
CSUS CEUs are not provided for conference-style training events.
Continuing Education Units through SLPAB
WestEd Comprehensive Early Intervention Technical Assistance Network (CEITAN) is approved by the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board (SLPAB) as a continuing professional development provider (PDP #476). WestEd CEITAN may issue up to 10 contact hours per training day at $15 per hour.
- Each online course completed earns 6 contact hours from the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board. The total fee is $90 per course.
- Each Early Start Partners Symposium (ESPS) training day earns 8 contact hours from the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board. The total fee for ESPS 2026 is $120 (one 8-hour training day).
