The U.S. Departments of Education and Health and Human Services released a policy statement in 2015 regarding the inclusion of children with disabilities in early childhood programs. This policy statement provides direction and recommendations to State agencies and local programs to increase the inclusion of young children disabilities in early childhood programs.
