Early Start Process from Referral to IFSP:
Part 1 timing: As soon as possible and no more than 45 days from referral.
5 steps: referral received; obtain parental consent; evaluate in all 5 developmental areas, including health, hearing and vision, to determine eligibility; and access to determine service needs; convene initial IFSP meeting.
Part 2 timing: As soon as possible and no more than 45 days from IFSP meeting where consent for services was obtained.
Final step; Start all EI services.
