In October 2016, ZERO TO THREE held the Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Policy Convening with a goal of identifying state strategies for aligning health care financing policy, specifically Medicaid policy, with IECMH practice. The resulting report, Aligning Policy and Practice: Mental Health Assessment and Treatment of Infants, Young Children, and Families, summarizes the findings of the convening.
