New (FREE) Toolkit for Parents and EI Providers

2392375?profile=RESIZE_480x480In collaboration with the nonprofit group Read Aloud 15 MINUTES, the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) released its newest resource in October 2017: Communicating With Baby: Tips and Milestones From Birth to Age 5.

The resource is intended “to spread the word about the importance of talking, hearing, and understanding milestones” and “to make 15 minutes of daily reading to children from ages birth to 8 the national caregiving standard by 2023.” The handouts are available in both English and Spanish and offer “easy tips for parents on how they can encourage a child’s communication development at each stage of life.” We’ve provided links below to the handouts for families of children from birth to age three:
