A sticky note reads "Believe in Yourself." A yellow pencil is next to it on a wooden table. The Division for Early Childhood (DEC) of the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC), through its Recommended Practice guidelines, offers a checklist on Motivation and Guidance in Leadership (Lista de verificación de motivación y guía en el liderazgo). This resource can be used as a self-assessment to evaluate the consistency of one’s practices and the promotion of specific core values and beliefs. It also provides numerous examples for us to reflect on.
